Rose " " the flower of love "
From the long ancient past up to the present people
have know and used the rose for many different matters,
especially in using it to represent beauty and love.
This is because its attractive charmingand beauty
of its form, its
flourishing and grousing colors, as well as appealing

fascinated by it was named the " Queen of all
the flowers " and the symbol of love.

From a book of literary value written by H.M. the
King rama VI the sixth ruler of Rattanakosin Era :
entitle " Muttanapata " the pain of love
or the legend of rose, the King described about the
pains causing by love
between deity and mankind that ended in disappointment.
The story finished when Muttana, the heroine in the
book was cursed by Sutes, the deity who fell in love
with her, to forever become the rose, and thus gave
birth to
the legend of love, written by the King.
จากบทพระราชนิพนธ์ของรัชกาลที่ 6 แห่งกรุงรัตนโกสินทร์อันมีชื่อว่ามัทนพาธา
หรือ ชื่อภาษาอังกฤษว่า muttanapata ซึ่งเป็นวรรณกรรมอันไพเราะ
จากที่มาดังกล่าว จึงมาเป็นโรสมัทนาในปัจจุบัน ด้วยสรรพคุณอันล้ำค่าของธรรมชาติในน้ำมันหอมของกุหลาบ
